The Grief Ministry (TGM) is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2021 for the purpose of developing new and innovative grief education resources, creating useful grief support tools, and instilling confidence in those who want to be an aide to their neighbor through a season of loss. We also educate and support grievers who are enduring a season of loss. The Grief Ministry’s core mission is improving grief literacy in a society which struggles to reconcile all types of loss.
At its heart, TGM believes that grief, while universal, is deeply personal. Each individual experiences loss in unique ways, influenced by personal history, relationships, and cultural norms. Recognizing this, TGM strives to provide resources that resonate across diverse experiences. Whether through workshops, online tools, or community outreach programs, the organization creates a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their grief, understand it, and ultimately reconcile with it.
Furthermore, TGM emphasizes the importance of community in the healing process. Grief can often lead to feelings of isolation, but by fostering connection and mutual understanding, individuals can find strength in shared experiences. By focusing on education, TGM not only equips individuals to handle their grief but also empowers them to support others, creating a ripple effect of compassion and understanding in communities worldwide.
